BlackBerry Facebook Application Updated

BlackBerry users who like to stay in touch with friends on the go via the ever popular social networking site, Facebook, will be happy to know that reports are in that Facebook v1.5 is out. The biggest upgrade to the application is that it can now be integrated with your BlackBerry contacts stored on the handset. Some of the features the upgrade will feature include -

• additional language support
• notifications coming to the Messages folder
• profile pictures can be made part of your caller ID
• picture sharing and tagging
• status updating
• wall posting

You can update your existing Facebook application by going to mobile.blackberry.com on the handset itself.
